Powertex Workshops

What is Powertex?? Powertex is a Universal Medium. It is used for making sculptures, mixed media art, decorative objects and more.  

We have a range of courses under the expert tuition of Rachel Pullen, Certified Powertex Trainer, qualified to teach Fabric Sculpting, Stone Art, Mixed Media and Power Wax.

​You will learn loads of tips & techniques throughout each workshop to enable you to continue with your own Powertex projects at home. Where possible, we aim to use recycled materials & found objects in our workshops - feel free to bring along any you might want to include!

All courses are suitable for beginners..... you do not need to have any artistic experience or talent, just come along, have fun and give it a try!

All materials, protective gloves/aprons and light refreshments will be provided during all workshops.

Taster Workshop

Join us for a great introductory workshop. There will be a choice of projects on offer, Mirror or picture frame. You will learn fabric sculpting and dry brushing techniques.

Tryptich Artwork

Come along and create your own stunning piece of Art. We will be exploring the use of stencils, texture past and bister sprays in this workshop. No experience necessary.

Mixed Media Art

Join us in this fun and fluid workshop to create a mixed media canvas. Suitable for complete beginner's you will use a variety of techniques to create stunning effects.

Sculpture Workshop

Create a stunning figurine at this fun filled full day workshop. You will be provided with a plaster head of your choice to work from  Full step by step instructions will be given, no experience necessary!

Animal 3D Artwork

Use Fabrics, lace and clay to create a unique 3 dimensional wall art sculpture.  Full step by step instructions will be given, no experience necessary!

 


Wine Goblets

Come and create your own unique Wine glass. Exploit the weather proof qualities of Powertex in this fun workshop. No experience necessary.
